7th March 2010 - The first event has been run and resulted in 5th place for Chance Remark - a nice solid start to the season.
22nd February 2010 - Good and bad this week end - the good was at the JAS with decent runs from the horses. The bad was the cancellation of Osberton due to snow.
4th February 2010 - At last, Entering Events!!!! 4 weeks to go.
15th January 2010 - The snow and ice has finally gone!!!! We have fixed all the burst water pipes in the yard and we can now start serious training for the new season - can't wait.
December 2009 - As Christmas draws close Becky has been winning at both Show Jumping and also Dressage competitions but can't wait for the Eventing season to start again!!
As for horses for 2010, with 6 Intermediate/Advanced rides and at least 1 good Young Novice confirmed, the season promises some good Eventing for Becky!!
19th November 2009 - Having more or less recovered from the ankle injury Becky took Clifton Clicquot to Hill House for some show jumping. Entered 2 classes and won both!!!
17th October 2009 - Last Event of the season and first injury (luckily not too serious) caused withdrawal of the 3 Intermediate horses. Time for a break and some show jumping and training as Becky has been awarded a place on the British Equestrian Foundation scheme.
3rd October 2009 - The last "big" event of the season saw Becky with 3 Advanced horses at Witton. Despite terrible weather conditions (gale force winds) we managed to get there in time and the results were great with all three in the top 20. Harvey did his stuff as usual but for Islanmore Ginger and Chance Remark it was the first time at Advanced level and both completed the event (Ginger even went double clear).
Only two more events to go this season, Oasby tomorrow and Great Witchingham in 2 weeks. Great Witchingham will see our youngster (Clifton Clicquot) running in his first Intermediate.
26th September 2009 - Islanmore Ginger ended up 2nd at Aske giving him his best ever Intermediate result.
14th September 2009 - A busy few days at Osberton International with 4 horses to compete on. Young Frankie (Clifton Clicquot) was a real star after only 4 Pre Novice and 4 Novices he performed well in the CCI* event, finishing 33rd.
20th August 2009 - Becky is reserve rider for the GB Junior Team. Not bad after only a short time eventing. The Newberts have asked Becky to ride their other horse, Tigger Two which went well for Becky the first time she rode it.
2nd August 2009 - Another decent weekend with results (although the weather could have been better). Becky has had 55 rides so far this season and has only had 60 cross country jumping penalties (that is 3 fences out of about 1200 in total). Not too bad!!!
28th July 2009 - Becky received an email informing her that she had been placed on the "Short List" for the Young Riders Team.
25th July 2009 - Rebecca's first Advanced Event!!! Becky and Harvey both perfomed terrifically, starting with a good dressage score and building on it with only 1 down show jumping and a clear cross country.
17th July 2009 - 2 more Novices to compete from the Nicholson Stable, Jet & Classic Curtis.
12th July 2009 - 2 new rides - Capability Curtis and Islanmore Ginger - both went well at Buckminster for the first time for these new partnerships. Clifton Clicquot performed superbly as usual!
6th July 2009 - After riding Edward Nicholsons stallion, Capability Curtis, at the Burton Hunt ODE to "sort him out" and taking first place on him Becky is going to ride him at some Events.
27th June 2009 - We have a new taem member of the equine variety. Becky has been asked to ride Islanmore Ginger for the owner and at their first outing at Milton Keynes they managed a creditable 10th place. This partnership will next be out at Aske and then Buckminster.
21st June 2009 - Becky's Birthday and a terrific present as she has been put on the "A" list for the GB Young Riders Team. Visit Team
20th June 2009 - Another consistent week with three runs (The Diamond Hunter, Chance Remark & Harvey's Courage) and thre placings.
8th June 2009 - Becky has just been told that she can have the ride on Islanmore Ginger to see whether he has fully recovered from last years injury.
30th May 2009 - Bishops Burton produced more real highs . Clifton Clicquot gave his all and performed superbly and a win on Chance Remark and second on Paddy's Gold at Intermediate level rounded the day off.
24th May 2009 - Houghton International produced 13th place out of a field of 111 competitors in the CCI** event on Harvey. The Somme had his first outing in the 4YO Young Eventhorse class which netted 11th place.
16th May 2009 - Richmond - Clifton Clicquot - First Novice, First BE point! Great run!
15th May 2009 - Aston le Walls produced some varied weather but resulted in both Paddy's Gold and The Diamond Hunter finsihing well in 7th & 9th places respectively. On to Richmond tomorrow with our youngster, Clifton Clicquot, for his first run in Novice.
10th April 2009 - First win of the season and what a win!! Becky came first at Burnham Market in the Open Intermediate section on Harveys Courage (only their third competition together) . This section was particularly strong with most of the GB team competing. The day was capped off with Chance Remark performing well in his first Intermediate run. Apart from one small mistake on the cross country he would have been well placed.
6th April 2009 - Another member of the team! Somme, a 4 year old Gelding is to be Becky's ride for the Young Event Horse competitions. He had his first outing on Sunday and did very well!
23rd March 2009 - The ups and downs of Eventing!! Frankie (clifton Clicquot) came second in his second Event, The Diamond Hunter disgraced herself with a stop on the Cross Country (most unlike her) and then Harveys Gold had a storming Cross Country round which Becky enjoyed enormously.
15th March 2009 - We had a really good 3 days at Oasby with three double clears and just one show jump penalty with the fourth horse (see results page).
8th March 2009 - A good start to the BE season with Chance Remark taking 9th place on a double clear.
23rd February 2009 - What a great start to the year! Harvey went to the JAS on Friday and jumped superbly, finishing 5th. Sunday saw us at Osberton at the EMDG Event. First to go was Clifton Clicquot (Frankie) who had never seen a dressage ring and had only been Cross Country Schooling once in his life and that wasn't with Becky. He did a good dressage and then double clear. Next was The Diamond Hunter, she managed 2nd place and then Harvey took 7th. 3 double clears!
11th February 2009 - Becky has just agreed to ride Paddys Gold for the season for Fiona Gibson. He will be at our yard in the next day or so and they will have their first outing at Oasby.
4th February 2009 - The Christmas break seems to be a distant memory now. The new season starts for us with the non affiliated Event at Osberton on 22nd February. We are taking The Diamond Hunter along with the two new rides, Harveys Courage and Clifton Clicquot. Our first BE Event will be Isleham on Chance Remark on 8th March and then on to Oasby followed by Lincoln
12th December 2008 - With the arrival of Harvey we have now got the 4 horses that we wanted to make up the team for 2009. 7th December 2008 - Another new arrival!! Mr. & Mrs. Branch's Harveys Courage has arrived at our yard for Becky to ride next season. Harveys Courage is an Advanced Horse and has competed up to 4* level.
8th November 2008 - Frankie ll has arrived as Becky's new horse for next season! Frankie is a grey gelding and will be run alongside The Diamond Hunter etc.

5th October 2008 - Becky's second ride of the weekend resulted in another 2nd place on Park Panache ll despite the awful weather and ground comditions.
3rd October 2008 - A great first ride after the broken wrist resulted in 2nd place on Chance Remark.
19th September 2008 - THE NEWS IS GOOD - THE POT IS OFF THE BROKEN WRIST. After only 3 weeks the pot has been taken off and the all clear given to start competing again! This is great as Becky will get a couple of runs at Oasby before her trip to Weston Park.
20/21 August 2008 - Pony Club Eventing Championships and Becky acheived 1st place in her section helping the Belvoir Team to win the competition for the first time in over 30 years.
7/8 August 2008 - Becky took her time on The Diamond Hunter after last weeks fall but she was fine and enjoyed her round. 3rd on Chance Remark means he will soon be out of Novice.
26th July 2008 - Despite The Diamond Hunter falling on a very slippery corner Becky managed to remount and complete her first CIC* Event. She was 16th on Jenson Curtis which was a good finish. Park Panache was 3rd in the JRN with Chance Remark making 4th in Novice.

2nd January 2008 - Happy New Year to everyone. Our equestrian year started with a nice 2 page article in Equestrian Life! At the end of last year we dragged 6 of the Curtis horses out of the field and competed in a Dressage competition at Riseholme College. Becky rode all 6 in one class with about 15 minute intervals between rides - the logistics were awful! Anyway the results were OK with 1st, 2nd, 4th & 4th. Not bad for one jockey!!
20th to 22nd October 2007 - The last Event Weekend of the season - The Weather was absolutely superb on Saturday and the season ended on a high with Becky taking 4th on Jenson and riding a double clear on Blockbuster lll for the slightly injured Boogie Machin. Marble was his usual awesome self around the Cross Country and a 9th was acheived on Boogie's youngster, "Chance Remark".
7th October 2007 - What a way to end the Showing Season! Mystic Napoliana won the 153cm WHP class at The Horse of the Year Show and went on to be Reserve Champion. The Diamond Hunter was unplaced in the Intermediate WHP but performed superbly as usual. August 2007 BSPS Summer Championships - Becky had a great week at the Championships with wins on Park Panache ll in the Restricted Int WHP and the Travel Trust Int WHP. She was again in the winning English Team on Mystic Napoliana and also came second in the Dessert Orchid on this mare. On The Diamond Hunter she won the Open Dressage, won the Gold Cup Dressage (4th overall) and came second in the Intermediate Horse Worker. Not a bad week then!!
